hi,

why? they've got competition....thats why competition is good...and why
prices for hardware are 4x greater in the Amiga world

its the results acheived that matter. take, for example, the Dreamcast.
now here is a machine whos 3D hardware is decidedly old now..and yet its
only in the past 6 months that developers have really begun to get
fantastic results out of it. Peoples jaws just drop when they see games
such as JSR, MSR, PSO the 1st time. In terms of the games
themselves...well, MSR has to be discounted as its just a racing game
really. I fail to be impressed with FPS games that just get faster each
year...its to be expected. nothings changed with the genre. Quake when it
first came out, well, that WAS impressive. I only got it for my Amiga
because of the classic 90's arguments of c.s.a.advocacy/misc/games in
which i battled for the Amiga side saying it COULD be done and it WOULD be
able to run on a decent Amiga setup. hey! 6 years later I was proved
right.

I'm suprised noone has (yet) complained that the Radeon series isnt
supported by the new Amiga hardware ;-)
